Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) for ITR2

Description

This mod adds a mod options button to the main menu and coop ingame menu. To be used by modders to add mod configuration settings for their mods. This mod does nothing on its own. Only add it if listed as a requirement. Confirmed working on game version 1. 1

Installation: SML method

SML is the more stable modloader.

Step #1: SML

Download KeinZantezuken's Simple Mod Loader for ITR2, extract the files and put all of the extracted mod files into your folder.

Step #2: Mod Configuration Menu

I recommend installing this mod with vortex mod manager, however if you wish do do a manual install, simply put all of the unzipped mod files into

Step #3: getting SML to recognize the mod

Now, You can get the game to recognize your mod in one of 2 ways:

  Installation: UE4SS Method

  Step #1: UE4SS (Not Currently Recommended)

  Install UE4SS to your game. It is recommended to use vortex mod manager to do this.

  As of writing this description, this is the latest up to date build of ue4ss but it requires a patch.

  This mod can be installed with vortex mod manager the same way ue4ss can.

  Compatibility

  For Modders

  This mod searches for actors with the tag "MCM_Menu". You add your widget to MCM by adding your widget to a blueprint actor, then spawning that actor and applying the "MCM_Menu" tag. MCM will search for your actor, add it to its mod registry, then despawn your actor. The mod's name in the MCM menu will be the class name of your actor (with BP_ removed and _ converted to blank spaces).

  Q: Why don't you pass a string for mod name, author, etc

  A: This simply didn't work in ITR1 due to some limitations of logic mods, and so for now I've assumed it wont work in ITR2. Searching by tag is a more stable workaround.

  Q: Why is my menu spawning with a weird offset to the MCM menu?

  A: I dont know why this sometimes happens, but the workaround is to edit the transform of your widget inside the blueprint actor containing your widget.
