Creepy Tide SFX

Before the Tide was just.. windy. You heard the wind pick up, the world starting to become grey and you went to a shelter. Nothing to it.

But now... I can hear their voices!

The Tide carries the voices of the Radius' victims!

They talk, they scream!

I'm not going out there again..!"

One weird thing I've noticed is that if you pause the game, the SFX continues playing in the background, and from the feedback I've received there's probably other factors doing stuff to the duration of the SFX meaning it might not be as "sync'ed" as in the demonstration video.

I'll probably make an updated version to add more sirens and account for the time changes. Stay tuned! ;D

I wanted the Tide to sound like it emitted the voices of the people killed by the Radius, sort of like how the Mimics did it in ITR 1 only coming from the Radius itself while at the same time sounding alien and wrong.

It starts off subtle and slowly builds in intensity with the whispers and other unsettling noises becoming more frequent as the Tide draws near. A siren will sound just before the Tide hits, giving you a very last warning (about 10 in-game minutes).

I also changed the PDA alarm into a broken warning signal that I think fits the new SFX perfectly!

Extract the files into your mods folder.

(Steam\Steamapps\Common\IntoTheRadius2\IntoTheRadius2\Content\Paks\Mods)

The CreepyTideAlarm files contain the Tablet warning,

& the CreepyTideSFX files contain the Tide SFX.

If you only want one or the other, only install the files from the mod you want. ;)

Is NOT compatible with any mod that changes the Tide SFX or the Tide alarm. (A_SFX_Tide_Loop_01 & Tide_Beep)
