Overview

This mod increases the maximum durability (health) of all building types and deployables to 99,999,999,999 hitpoints, making your structures virtually indestructible while still maintaining the game's damage mechanics. Unlike mods that provide complete immunity, buildings and deployables can still technically take damage - it would just take an astronomical amount to destroy them.

    Installation

    Simple Installation (Recommended)

    Requirements:

    Installation Steps:
    • []Download the .zip and unpack to reveal the .pak file.Maximum_Building_Durability_P.pak

      []Navigate to your Icarus mods folder:

      []C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Icarus\Icarus\Content\Paks\mods\

      []If the mods folder doesn't exist, create it

      []Copy the .pak file into the into the mods folder

      []Launch Icarus through Steam

      []Done! Your buildings now have maximum hitpoints!

      That's it! No tools required, no complicated setup.

      Installation with Icarus Mod Manager (Alternative)

      If you prefer using the Mod Manager:

      • []Download and run Icarus Mod Manager by Jimk72

        []Download the zip and unpack to reveal the .pak file

        []Maximum_Building_Durability_P.pak

        []In Mod Manager, click "Add Mod to List" and select the file

        []Check the box next to "No Building Damage"

        []Click "Install All Listed Mods"

      Alternative Version

      Uninstallation

      To remove the mod:

        []Delete Maximum_Building_Durability_P.pak

        []Launch Icarus

      Your buildings will return to normal durability values.

      Technical Details

      This mod modifies one game file:

      • []Traits-D_Durable.json - Sets Max_Durability to 99,999,999,999 for all building trait types
      Note: While the mod sets durability to 99 billion, the game may cap the displayed value at around 13 million.
