Ferani's Stability Mod just got an upgrade:

The building stability mechanic in the game runs frequent checks on all placed building pieces. It checks whether the structures are still stable and supported, or if the pieces need to start crumbling and break. This check takes a lot of the game's processing needs, so large buildings or worlds with lots of scattered buildings may lag / low FPS. 

This mod removes that calculation completely. The game no longer runs checks for stability, so your buildings will stay where you put them and be left alone. There is no longer a colored highlight to show the stability of a building piece (blue/green/yellow/orange/red), since this mechanic is now completely turned off.

This saves the heavy recalculations that the game runs, and means there are no building restrictions. 

Go as high or far as you want! You can even make floating buildings/structures, go nuts!

Installation:

WITH ICARUS MOD MANAGER by JIMK72 (RECOMMENDED):

• []Download the EXMODZ-file[/]

  []Open your Mod Manager (an EXMODZ-file directly in the "\Icarus\Content\Paks\Mods" folder will not work)[/]

  []On the right side, choose "Import EXMODZ File"[/]

  []Choose the EXMODZ-file you just downloaded (extract it from ZIP), and it will show up on the list on the left[/]

  []Add it to your list of "Mods to Install" by double-clicking on the mod name[/]

  []Merge it by itself or with other mods (there may be conflicts, so keep an eye on what is being merged)[/]

  []Play![/]

• []Download the PAK-file[/]

  []Navigate to your Icarus-folder (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Icarus)[/]

  []Go to \Icarus\Content\Paks\Mods. If you don't have a "Mods" folder, you can create one[/]

  []Insert the PAK-file (not a ZIP) in "Mods"[/]

  []Play![/]

Icarus Mod Manager: 

If you are using the mod manager and have trouble with the mod, try to click "Check for IMM Update" and "Update Data Folder" on the right side, and then re-merge your mods. This fixes about 90% of the issues, such as missing or wrong icons and random weird behaviors.

PAK-files:

PAK-files are more likely to stop working after the weekly updates, so use at your own risk. Try using the EXMODZ-version with the Icarus Mod Manager instead. If the PAK-version breaks, send me a message and I will try to update it.
