## DESCRIPTION

Balanced Food Buffs x2. 5 is a quality-of-life mod designed to extend the duration of all eligible food, drink, and ration buffs by 2. 5x while also making food spoil 5x more slowly.

Instead of increasing the strength of food bonuses or changing progression, the mod allows buffs to remain active for longer and reduces how quickly food is lost to spoilage. This means less time spent constantly eating, replacing expired buffs, and managing food during exploration, building, and long missions.

The original food bonus values remain unchanged. Coconut growth and maturation times are preserved, and non-food decay timers are not modified.

The survival experience remains balanced while food management becomes more practical and less repetitive.

## INSTALLATION

1. Download the archive.

2. Extract the included .pak file.

3. Copy the file to:

...\Icarus\Content\Paks\mods

4. Launch ICARUS.

If the "mods" folder does not exist, simply create it manually.

## MULTIPLAYER

For the best multiplayer experience, all players should use the same version of this mod.

## COMPATIBILITY

This mod only modifies food buff duration values.

It may conflict with other mods that edit the same food buff data.

Avoid using multiple food rebalance mods simultaneously unless compatibility has been confirmed.

## EXISTING SAVES

This mod can safely be added to existing save files.

The updated buff durations will be applied automatically.

## UNINSTALLATION

1. Exit the game.

2. Remove the .pak file from:
