Open Voice

OpenVoice expands Hytale’s built-in voice chat with an optional server-wide voice channel while keeping normal proximity chat available.

No client mod is required.

Features

Proximity Mode — Uses Hytale’s normal nearby voice chat.

Open Mode — Talk with other players using Open mode anywhere on the server.

Separate Channels — Open and Proximity players only hear others using the same mode.

Player Muting — Mute and manage individual players through the GUI.

Persistent Settings — Voice mode and muted-player preferences are saved per player.

Voice Status — Shows your current Voice Chat, Microphone, and Input Mode settings.

Commands

/openvoice

Opens the OpenVoice menu.

/voicechat

Alternative command.

Installation

1. Place MGG-OpenVoice-1. 0. 1.jar in your server/world mods folder.

2. Fully restart the server or world.

3. Use /openvoice in-game.

Server-side only — players do not need to install OpenVoice.

Important Note

Microphone and input settings are controlled by the Hytale client.

OpenVoice can display these settings but cannot change them for the player.
