📋 About This Mod
This mod swaps dualshock's face buttons glyphs: (Cross <-> Circle, Square <-> Triangle).
This mod is Intended for people like me who are used to nintendo layout (or jp playstation layout) and want to keep muscle memory for this game.
To get correct input positions in-game steam input setting should follow Nintendo layout mapping:
- Cicle -> A
- Cross -> B
- Square -> Y
- Triangle -> X
This is done automatically by Steam if you have a switch "Use Nintendo layout" in controller settings activated.
Current issues:
- This mod does not change the controls preview in settings, so it will show incorrect (swapped back) mappings. I don't know at the moment how to solve this, as it looks like game seems to expect buttons to be in same particular order for each controller.
- I didn't test for compatibility with other mods, and it may conflict with mods changing controller mappings.
INSTALLATION
Place the `Patch_SwapFaceButtons.bin` into `Packed_DX12` located in the game's root directory.
UNINSTALLATION
Just remove previously placed `Patch_SwapFaceButtons.bin` from `Packed_DX12`.
