No Diving Mask

🤿 What this mod does?

The Diving Mask in HFW is both the crown jewel of inventions and the ultimate “why did you do this to us?” moment. Sounds contradictory, right? Well, buckle up. The mask shows up during the main quest, and from that point on Aloy automatically slaps it on every time she dips her head underwater. Unlike her headgear, which we all gleefully banished to the Shadow Realm via the settings menu—this stubborn snorkel had no “hide” option. None. Zero. Nada.

So, your ever-loyal tinkerer Johnny from Forbidden West Customs took it upon himself to fix this injustice. After a week-long caffeine-fueled expedition, I hunted down the elusive mask asset. And guess what? It wasn’t even tied to the inventory. That’s why even if you delete it with Cheat Menu, Aloy still rocks it underwater like it’s glued to her face. But no asset can escape Johnny’s wrath, or my coffee.

Thus, hunters, gather ‘round: behold the Hide Diving Mask mod! Finally, you can admire Aloy’s underwater beauty without the scuba cosplay. Because if we’re going to dive, we might as well do it in style.
