Let Me Out Mod

This mod removes the "You are leaving the play area" and "Can't enter this location" messages and allows you to explore wherever you want beyond the map boundaries or in restricted areas.  You can finally walk to the Burning Shores DLC map just like you could with Frozen Wilds!

Few things to keep in mind:

• []this only works when on land (not when swimming or flying)

  []if you try to swim when you are beyond the map boundaries or in restricted areas you might get yourself stuck

  []you might be able to fly once you go beyond the map boundaries but you won't be able to cross the map boundaries while flying

  []exploring restricted areas (the ones that would be blocked by the "Can't enter this location" message) will likely break game progress and it's recommended to not enable the "Disable Can't Enter Location" functionality until after you have fully finished the game story (using the "Disable Leaving Play Area" functionality should not impact game progress)

  []if you explore really far beyond the map boundaries you will get stuck at a Compiling Shaders loading screen

  To install the mod, copy the version.dll file to the game installation folder.  By default only the "Disable Leaving Play Area" functionality is enabled.  To also enable the "Disable Can't Enter Location" functionality you need to create a letmeout.ini file and place it in the same location as the version.dll file.  A sample letmeout.ini file is included with all available options, including logging.  Most users will likely just want the following two lines in their letmeout.ini file:

  DisableCantEnterLocation = On

  Note: If upgrading from version 1. 0 please make sure to delete the winhttp.dll file to uninstall the previous version.

  There are four versions of this mod:

  • []Disable Leaving Play Area - disables the "You are leaving the play area" message and allows you to explore beyond map boundaries

  • Disable Leaving Play Area and Can't Enter Location Test - test version that displays dialog boxes to show what it is doing and continues to monitor the game to check if it undid any of the changes

    To install the mod, download the version you want, extract the contents of the zip file, and copy the winhttp.dll file to the game installation folder.  To uninstall the mod, delete the winhttp.dll file in the game installation folder.
