Fsr 3.1.4 I Xess v2.0.1.41 Horizon Forbidden West

Hey everyone! These files of mine replace the default XESS and FSR libraries to try and improve visual quality when using Intel XESS or FSR upscalers. With XESS, I've noticed significant improvements, especially if you have an Intel Arc GPU.

How to install these files:

• []Locate the Correct Game Directory:

  []You need to navigate to your main Horizon Forbidden West installation folder. I know the exact location can vary depending on your game client (mainly Steam for the PC version, I imagine).

  []Common Steam Path (likely): ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition

  [](If you've installed the game via another method or in a custom path, obviously go to that folder).

  []The folder we're interested in is the main game folder, where the executable resides (like HorizonForbiddenWest.exe). Unlike other titles, the files we're touching are located directly there, not in subfolders like bin\x64.

  []BACK UP the Existing Files (VERY IMPORTANT!):

  • []I can't stress this enough: Before copying anything, it's crucial that you back up the original DLL files you're about to replace. To know exactly which files to back up, it's simple: open the . RAR archive you downloaded from me and look at the names of the DLL files inside.

    []Now, go to the main game installation folder (the one we just talked about) and look for the original DLL files that have the exact same names as the ones you saw in my . RAR.

    []Make a backup copy of each of these original files. The easiest way is to copy and paste them into a separate, safe folder (maybe on your Desktop, in a folder called "HFW Backup"), or you can rename them directly in the game folder by adding .bak to the end of the original name (e.g., if my RAR contains a file named, say, example_library.dll, you look for example_library.dll in the game folder and rename it to example_library.dll.bak BEFORE copying mine).

    []This step is crucial, folks. It will allow you to easily restore the game to its original state if something goes wrong or if you simply want to revert to the original files. Do not skip this for any reason!

    []Replace the Original Files with Mine:

    • []Take the DLL files you find in my . RAR archive.

      []Copy these DLL files of mine and paste them directly into the main Horizon Forbidden West installation folder (the same one where you just made those precious backups).

      []Your operating system will almost certainly ask if you want to replace the existing files in the destination. Confirm this action to overwrite the original files with mine.

      Done! Now launch the game. The changes should be active. Remember to enable XeSS or FSR in the game's graphics settings to see the effects of
