Lumos Always Stay On UE4SS

Description

This mod allows the Lumos wand light to remain permanently active once cast, letting you explore without manual interruptions.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE ON GAME MECHANICS:

• Devil's Snare & Game Mechanics: Butterfly puzzles work completely fine! However, for mechanics that strictly check the internal Lumos state (such as Devil's Snare), cast Lumos and do not cast any other spells afterward. As long as you don't use other spells after casting Lumos, Devil's Snare will react normally.

• Technical Explanation: While it is technically possible to resolve this limitation by forcibly re-triggering internal Lumos mechanics after every spell cast, doing so requires significantly more complex code. During rapid and intense spell usage in combat, this extra processing can lead to game crashes. To guarantee maximum stability and a crash-free experience, the mod currently operates using this lightweight approach.

Features:

• Permanent Light: Lumos stays on during any player actions.

• No Cancellation: Casting other spells (including Protego, Basic Casts, or combat combos) won't cancel the light.

• Broom Flying: The wand light remains active even while flying on a broom.

• Easy Toggle: Simply recast Lumos to turn the light off.

Requirements

• RE-UE4SS (Required): This mod was tested and confirmed working on version 3. 0. 1 (specifically build 3. 0. 1-366-g7982b56).

Installation Instructions

1. Make sure you have RE-UE4SS installed (see Requirements above).

2. Download and extract the mod archive.

3. Move the LumosAlwaysStayOn folder into your game's directory at:

Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\Mods\
