  Installation

  1. Download and import First Person View, FOV60 with Simple Mod Framework to install.

  2. Replace HITMAN3.exe located at HITMAN 3\Retail with the file you downloaded here

  What does this specifically do?

  Just makes it so some actions that would force you out of first person don't force you out of first person. It's completely optional, and in my opinion, the FPV mod is playable WITHOUT installing an exe patch.

  Will this work for Windows Store?

  No. Someone will have to send me the exe of the latest windows store version.

  What if I want FOV40?

  I might do it later. This first version is just to check for stability and usability.

  My SMF Stopped working after installing this mod, HELP!

  Ensure you replace this mod with the vanilla version of the exe, otherwise SMF will fail to detect your game version, and then fail to install mods. If you're on a pirated version of the game, tough luck, I can't help, and I highly doubt this exe would work in the first place. Read the posts section for more details.

  My antivirus threw a warning!

  Then don't install it. You can upload it to VirusTotal or use a competent virus scanning software like malwarebytes or Windows Defender.

  P. S. Information for those who want to patch it themselves, for newer/other versions:

  1) download original collision fix mods, there will be 2 files vanilla, and patched (30, 60 pov versions, choose one).

  2) download any hex editor (e.g. ImHex is good one).

  3) add 3 files to project: vanilla hitman3.exe, patched fov hitman3.exe, and target hitman3.exe (your version) from your HITMAN3/Retail/ directory (NOTE: I highly recommend making backup of your hitman3.exe, in case you want to restore it later (for Simple Mod Framework, for example, as it can't work with modified game binary). In case you forgot to do backup, you could validate game files in steam, etc.

  4) diff vanilla and patched ones, to see what bytes were changed and then find same bytes in the target file and change them to patched version's values accordingly

  5) save file and ensure you placed patched binary in your HITMAN3/Retail/ directory.
