The Super Rome Project

New modder here. Got tired of waiting for mods that will turn my game into space Rome or the Medieval Ages. Decided to start working on it myself. Starting off small with titles, in-game text changes, plan on adding title icons, weapons and shields, capes, and then eventually armors and misc stuff like mech or destroyer rebrandings.

Currently added:

-Roman/Latin Titles

-In-game Text Conversions (Super Earth -> Super Rome | Eagle 1 -> Aquila I)

-Gladius Pompeianus over the Machete (plan on replacing each melee weapon with a different gladius)

-Legionary Scutum over the Ballistic Shield

What's next:

-Aquila/Signum/Vexillum over One True Flag

-Ship banners/etc

-Armor sets (debating between masks or faces... we'll see)

-FRV/Exosuit rebranding (keep general look, add a Signum/Vexillum, wreaths maybe? we'll see...)

I highly recommend the Mintoria Stands mod. It has great Roman themed armor, and I haven't gotten around to that point yet.

Helldiver/Helldivers -> Legionarius/Legionarii

Super Earth -> Super Rome

Squad -> Contubernium (A squad in a Roman legion)

Order/Orders -> Edictum/Edicta

Major Order -> Edictum Imperiale (Imperial Order (Won't really show most of the time because they're custom texts added after my updates)

Personal Order -> Edictum Legionarii

Social -> Socialis

Super Destroyer -> Super Chariot (Cuz why not)

Hellpod/Hellpods -> Capsula Inferna/Capsulae Infernae (Infernal Capsule)

Fast Recon Vehicle/FRV -> Speculator Vehiculum/SRV (Scout Vehicle in Latin, essentially)

Exosuit -> Cataphractus (Heavy Armored Cavalry)

Eagle 1 -> Aquila I (The literal translation to Latin)

Pelican 1 -> Liburna I (Liburnae were fast Roman warships used for scouting/raids)
