The Cloaks of Youthful Gratitude

After weeks of recovery from their harrowing encounter with the Automaton Legion, the children of Super Citizen Mary's Hospital for Tragically Ill Youths wish to portray their gratitude for the brave Helldivers which rescued them in an act of patriotic humanity.

All 4,311 children (democratically) chose to do so in the form of new capes, which would ride upon the backs of those great Helldivers as they charged into the enemy which once threatened the youths' already-fragile lives.

After a vote, the top five design choices submitted were minted onto surplus Foesmashers (previously used to keep the children warm whilst SEAF provided dutiful aid in the aftermath of Vernen Wells' retaking) by the children themselves.

Have gratitude for the messy paint soaked into the fabric of these capes.

Much love, time, and effort has been poured into them by tiny, shaking (but safe and warm) hands - all in appreciation for you.

I saw many fantastic designs for a cape dedicated to this MO, and it's a crying shame Arrowhead has chosen not to provide us with one.

While I won't complain about a donation to children's charity, it'd still be nice to have a cape dedicated to this - and so, this mod was born.

All version replace the Agent of Oblivion cape.

Installation:

~Download one version of the cape (+ the yellow handprint version, if you wish)

~Open the downloaded .zip

~Drag n' drop all three files in the .zip into your ... SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\data folder while Helldivers 2 isn't open, and voila.

You can only use one version of the cape at a time

When unequipping and attempting to re-equip the cape, it may revert to the original cape design. If this happens, restart your game.

*These designs were heavily inspired by this post and also contain elements of the 'tank you' letter AH designed.

More is soon to come as I think of other designs, but for now, this is what you get.

And yes, there is a hand with multiple fingers on the top left shoulder. The kids wanted to make a hand turkey.
