Sono's Bunch of Audio Goofs

Description

This is a collection of all the nonsensical sound replacements I've made for my own entertainment - some are more entertaining than others.

By installing this mod, among other things, you will hear:

- what happens when you give bots the aux cord to the jammermobile;

- Destruction_Metal_Pole_L_Wave_2_0_0.wav;

- factory striders lobbing obscenities in English, and even worse obscenitites in Italian;

- war striders crying like the babies they are (they see me coming at them with my hammer);

- chargers watching too much Infowars;

- funny Half Life sfx when priming stratagems (Half Life sfx are always funny).

I occasionally add in more sfx replacements, and perhaps I may write a comprehensive list here in the future; for now, this is a pandora box of dank surprises.

Installation

With HD2ModManager:

  []Manage the mod for HD2 with the HD2 mod manager[/]

  With HD2 Arsenal:

    • []Attempt to extract the WEIRDHEXNUMBER.patch_0 and .patch_0.stream files in the "data" folder within your game's installation folder

      []The file's location should look like this: "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Helldivers 2/data/babab001e.patch_0" (I'm not actually playing on Windows so the actual path may be slightly different)[/]

    []If the file already exists prior to installing this mod, change the file extensions to ".patch_1" and ".patch_1.stream" respectively (or choose a number so that it's the highest one) - make sure that the number is the same for each file;[/]

    []Note that the other files are just metadata for the mod manager, thus you can avoid extracting them.[/]

    If you want to have other sound replacement mods installed you might want this one to load before the others, so to prioritize the latter replacements.

    • []In HD2 Arsenal, this means putting this mod visually above the others (giving it a lower index in the load order, shown to the left of the current profile's mod list);[/]

      []If you're installing it manually, this means choosing a low number when renaming the file.[/]

      I've been told that my instructions for HD2 Arsenal should be the other way around, despite some testing on my side: if that's the case for you, move my mod below the other ones.
