What This Mod Does

- Simulates a CRT

- Simulates a retro game

- Simulates an 8bit/16bit aesthetic

Why Does This Mod Exist?

I needed to use Ultra Performance and Performance upscaling to achieve good framerates, and so I decided to try adding a retro feel to my game. This made the lower resolution more tolerable. Even if you don't need more performance, you could potentially lower your resolution & max out your graphic settings with this ReShade (or you could just use it if you like the vibe it gives)

Installation

1. Download the addon version of ReShade & open (it will not result in a ban)

2. Click on your games exe (click browse if its not in the list & find it)

3. Select DirectX11/12 then keep clicking next until finished

4. Download the mod from here & extract

5. Drop the extracted files inside your games directory "Helldivers 2" (Overwrite if it asks you to)

6. Boot the game up and select one of the multiple ReShade presets

Tip: There's multiple presets to choose from, they're ordered in terms of intensity. 1 being the least 4 being the most, which one works for you comes down to preference & the resolution you're at. Additionally this mod allows you to lower your internal resolution if you need more frames since lower resolutions don't really harm the quality of the graphics anymore since the pixelation becomes a part of the aesthetic, so feel free to experiment with upscaling!
