P-4 Senator SFX - Insurgency Sandstorm x Far Cry 3 Mod

Far Cry 3 x Insurgency: Sandstorm, how weird does that sound on a scale of 0 to 10? Actually just watch the whole video to see how it turned out.

I'm not the biggest fan of the original Senator firing sounds, I think they weren't quite fitting for the revolver, so I came out with the idea of utilising my Killing Floor 2 mod's sources and making something unique for this revolver. After many weird combinations I found one that turned out to work just fine in my opinion, but most importantly it does sound consistent with the sound design of the rest of the game which allows to use the mod without breaking its original feeling.

The goal of this mod is to bring more power into the gun, making the "body" of the sound more meaty and a bit less bass-heavy.

Feel free to give me your thoughts and/or feedback on this one, that's always appreciated.

How to install manually:

Extract and paste into game file location, which normally is in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\data

If you have other mods that modify the same file you'll need to rename patch_0 to patch_X where X is a number that matches the mod's ID.

For example, if your game folder already has 94b554570b12c088.patch_0 and 94b554570b12c088.patch_1, you should rename this mod's file to patch_2, otherwise go ahead and don't do any renamings, just put the file into game folder and you're good.
