Stoobstahl's proposal for the 8mm rifle contract during the Morgunson shakeup post super earth invasion, the rifle lacked modularity as it was essentially a retrofit of an older designs in the company's backlog of projects thus its modularity was lacking, it  came with a proprietary telescoping stock which gave it a plus in any possible Helldiver trials would it pass that far along, it was noted that its marksmanship capabilities were really good but its weight distribution was rather poor, the cheekrest was also very flimsy.

The rifles key feature was the Armature Defense M406 Grenade launcher which came as part of the batch sent for trials, this confused the bureau as it made the weight problem worse, the M406 was retool of a very simillar old world technology for a grenade launcher, doctrinally SEAF was very still not sure if they wanted to adopt an underslug grenade launcher, believing it to be uneeded.

The rifle won some regional trials and was tried out in limited scale on some planets the troops appreciated the easy to reach bolt release and mag release and magazine capacity many "Commando" units collapsed the stock to help with the weight distribution as it seemed to shift the center of gravity in a more favorable spot, they chose to spraypaint them in their respective unit camouflage.
