LMG-37 MEGA Defender

Reskins the Defender SMG into the Defender LMG, with an overall heftier look.

Highly recommended to use with drum mags and a foregrip, specifically the angled one, otherwise your diver will hold both hands at the center of this heavy weapon. (Gross.)

The angled foregrip does clip into the lower half of the gun, but trust me when I say that it's intentional. The hand placement looked the best with the angled so I decided to build the lower half of the gun with that foregrip in mind, like it was a piece of the gun itself. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

If you're a veteran of Helldivers one (like me) I'm sure you've thought maybe at least once that it kinda sucks how there's no machine gun primary like we had in the first game! Sure, they brought back the Stalwart, but it's a support weapon now, not a primary, and they have yet to add a new EXTRA light machine gun.

But I've found that the Defender with drum mags is the closest thing we currently have to an ELMG. It has the highest capacity of any ballistic weapon and boasts one of the highest damage stats for a full auto weapon, plus, with its very low fire-rate it has some of the highest sustained fire capability in the game, therefore, it's the one primary that feels the most like firing a big, beefy, box-fed machine gun. So that's why I made this mod.
