HELLDIVERS PRIME ReShade

This ReShade preset was carefully crafted to give Helldivers II the cinematic look it deserves without trashing on saturation, brightness or contrast. It comes with a mild performance cost, with GPU usage going up ~10% if you enable all effects at native resolution (my experience with an 9060 XT at 1440p).

Installation

• []Download PRIME-ReShade.ini and place it into your steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\bin folder.[/]

  []Download ReShade from https://reshade.me/#download and open it (add-on support NOT necessary).[/]

  []Select your Helldivers 2\bin\helldivers2.exe file, then DirectX 10/11/12.[/]

  []In the "Choose a preset file (.ini)" option, browse and select your Helldivers 2\bin\PRIME-ReShade.ini file.[/]

  []Click next and finish.[/]

Performance Tip (might not work 100% for everyone)

• []Set upscaling to TAA, then close the game and delete the AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\shader_cache folder. Then go to Helldivers 2 on your Steam library > right-click > properties and put this in launch options: --use-d3d11. This will force the game to use DirectX 11, dramatically boosting performance in most cases. You may see a black screen for a few seconds on first startup, so just wait a bit. This will disable the HDR option, but you can force it using a tool such as ForceAutoHDR, which I use and personally recommend.[/]

  []This WILL cause the Control Center to glitch out and go crazy, making it unusable. But since its not essential to gameplay, I'm okay with losing it. The developers are aware of this issue (Miitch himself replied to me) but no fix was released yet.[/]
