Helldivers 2 Drop Pod Music - Helldivers Metal Cover by Simon Loveridge

Changes the default Helldivers 2 Drop Pod music to the Metal cover version done by Simon Loveridge. I dunno why but this version makes me and my buddies feel more Democratic compared to the original Drop Pod music =D

INSTALLATION:

I did not set up my mod to use any mod loaders, so please do it manually.

Extract the .patch_0 and .patch_0.stream files into your Helldivers 2 data folder (***> SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > Helldivers 2 > data).

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Do take note, some audio modders bundle their audio mods into 1 single patch file. If I understand it correctly, this file is a combination of different audio mods combined into 1 file. It MIGHT conflict with other sound files depending on what other sound files are modified when those authors packaged the mod up.

The way I have done my mod is the same as the olden days, where it only overwrites only the single tracks it's meant to replace. It will take up a bigger file size and have more .patch files, but it will allow other audio files to be individually modded as well, as long as the other audio mods are saved as their individual tracks too.

If you are using other audio mods as well and not hearing my mod playing, I'd check whether their files are bundled up in a single patch file as well. Not much I can do about it if they use that audio .patch format, because that file will overwrite any other audio mods.

Because of this unpredictability of the way audio mods are packaged for this game, I don't support if you have any other audio mods installed except my Raise The Flag - Soviet March from Red Alert 3 mod.

I'm using this mod together with my Raise The Flag - Soviet March from Red Alert 3 mod, and both audio mods are playing correctly (as of Devoid of Liberty v7. 0. 1. 17th August 2026, 19:50pm GMT +8) so 🤷🏻‍♂ 🤷🏻‍♂ 🤷🏻‍♂

UNINSTALLATION:

To Uninstall, delete the 2 files.

The vid I uploaded is the Full Volume version of the file, with in-game Music volume set at 8. Just the way I like it. I've included a 75% Volume version, and a 50% Volume version as well (closest to original track). Use whichever you prefer.

How much of the song you get to listen to depends on how fast you load into the mission obviously... if you have a fast SSD/internet connection (and the rest of the players in your game have fast SSDs/internet connections) then sadly you won't get to enjoy it much
