Auguste Lebeau-Courally, in the year 1865, was recognized as one of the master gunsmiths of the Argenteau region near Liège.

He decided to open his own gun manufacturing firm. Surrounding himself with a team of renowned craftsmen, he began producing shotguns of the highest quality.

Auguste Lebeau won First Prize at the Philadelphia Exhibition (1876), the Diploma of Honor and the Gold Medal at the Paris Exhibition (1878), and the Grand Silver Medal in St. Petersburg (1897). He was an appointed supplier to the royal courts of Spain, Italy, and Russia.

In 1896, the prestigious venture was continued by Ferdinand Courally. In 1956, the Lebeau Courally firm was taken over by Mr. Joseph Verrees. In 2010, entrepreneur and avid hunter Joris Ide acquired the company and became its owner. Today, under his leadership and alongside Anne-Marie Moermans, this tradition of exceptional excellence and quality is being upheld.
