War Ledger - Damage Meter and Combat log

Overview

War Ledger keeps score while you play. A small meter in fights, an after action report when the mission ends, and every mission saved as a log you can open later next to the pause menu.

FEATURES

Live meter

One row per diver with damage, damage per second and share of the squad, over a bar in the squad colour. Kills and accuracy columns are optional.

Meter header, place and size

The line above the rows shows a title and the mission clock. Pick the title: planet, mission, front, difficulty or none, with a smaller second piece after it. Place, size, rows and bars are settings too.

After action report

The last mission on one card: result, your totals, kills by enemy, damage and kills by weapon and stratagem, and the squad's totals. F8 on the ship.

The HUB

A side panel next to the pause menu, shared by HUB mods. War Ledger's page holds the settings, the mission logs and the records. The HUB plays the game's menu sounds on hover and click.

Press ESC and the HUB tab sits beside the game's own tabs. The HUB opens at the right.

Mission report

Each log opens as a report with the planet, difficulty, front and the mission's main and side objectives, a card per diver and every counter the game keeps.

Timeline with drag zoom

Fights, each diver's damage, damage taken, kills, events, squad pickups and stratagems on one time line. Drag across the lanes to zoom to that stretch.

Squad joins, leaves and SQUAD LOST

A squadmate who leaves drops off the meter and a newcomer gets a row, both marked on the Timeline. When everyone else leaves at the same moment, the log marks SQUAD LOST with the time.

Damage page

Squad damage per second, damage and kills by source for every diver, by enemy with the source behind it, and what hurt you.

Compare and records

Put two of your missions on one time axis with the headline figures side by side. Records keep your bests and your missions per planet, mission and difficulty.

PRIVACY

• []Players are shown and stored by the tag the game's own HUD gives them: a letter and the squad number, such as P1 or S2. That goes for you too.[/]

  []No player name is drawn or stored. Not on screen, not in the logs, not in any other file. A log from an earlier build that still holds a name is ignored and never shown or copied.[/]

  []Nothing is sent anywhere. War Ledger has no network code. Logs stay on your PC.[/]

  []Exploration is your own only. The Loadout view shows what every diver brought. A title or a player card is an item, not a name, and is shown.[/]

  WHAT IT READS AND WRITES

  It reads, in the game's own process and without changing anything: every diver's mission counters, the health records of enemies, structures and Helldivers, the player list with the squad numbers and tags, the game state, the mission's planet, difficulty, front and objectives, which game screen shows the cursor, a mission counter of items picked up, the weapon in your hands and your position, and each diver's equipment record with the game's catalogs of those items. From the game's squad table it takes only the tag, the squad number and the level. The name beside them is never used, and the read buffer is wiped after every read.

  It writes nothing to the game. Its own files are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\WarLedger: logs (one JSON file per mission), index (the mission list in pages), index.json, index.backup.json, list.cfg, settings.cfg, hub.txt and warledger.log. The HUB keeps its side (left or right) in %LOCALAPPDATA%\HUB\hub.cfg.
