Lao Wu - Cat Meme Sounds for Hunters and Pouncers

What is "Lao Wu"?

In Chinese, 老吴 (Lao Wu) is a common male given name. No one in particular -

the joke is simply that a cat's threat meow sounds exactly like someone shouting

This mod replaces Hunter and Pouncer sounds with those cat vocalizations, so every

leaping bug sounds like a person yelling "Lao Wu!"

• []Hunter (大跳虫, "big jumper") = 老吴 / Lao Wu[/]

  []Pouncer (小跳虫, "little jumper") = 小吴 / Xiao Wu[/]

  Sounds replaced

  Idle, death, hit reactions, reinforcement / breach calls, leap attacks and more,

  for both Hunter and Pouncer.

  ⚠ THIS PACK HAS TWO DEATH-SOUND OPTIONS. PICK ONE.

  Your mod manager will show two Chinese option labels. They mean:

  • []自制阵亡音效 → custom Lao Wu / Xiao Wu death sounds[/]

    []终结族全套阵亡音效 → full Terminid death pack (every bug gets a meme death-scream)[/]

    Enable exactly ONE. If it doesn't sound the way you expected, check that the

    correct option is selected before reporting a problem.

    Conflicts

    • []Conflicts with any other mod that changes Hunter or Pouncer death sounds.

      Disable those first.[/]

      []Not compatible with mods that replace Hunter / Pouncer death audio.[/]

      Known side effect

      Pouncer audio lives inside the shared Scavenger bank, so a few Scavenger / small

      Terminid sounds may also be replaced.

      Import the ZIP into Arsenal or HD2MM, enable it, pick your death-sound

      option, then Deploy.
