Helldivers Unified Armoury

I was never a fan of how armour sets and weapons often never had any yellow, as well as the fact that so many sets had slightly different colours leading to mix-and-matching to be very restrictive. While there are a few mods that address this, they often make every set look the same, which I also find very boring, so I decided to make my own mod.

Over time, plenty of new options have been added that lean away from the idea of making sure everything looks unique or similar to its vanilla colours, but these are only options added for variety. The core of the mod remains "Sort the metal colours into one of the groups and add yellow if there is none."

As for what this mod does;

All armour sets have been sorted into groups consisting of: White; Black; Silver; Grey; Green (Dark, Light, and Olive); and Ceremonial (meaning gold substitutes yellow). While I tried to ensure every set kept as much of their original colours and design as possible, I overhauled some sets due to me not finding their original designs in any way pleasing, or because I couldn't get them to look good with yellow (which is why all beige sets are changed).

All guns (excluding some secondaries) have been re-coloured in the traditional Helldiver colour scheme, and some weapons come with additional variants. While there is an in-game option for this, it doesn't change decal colours, doesn't work for the Sta-11 and Sta-52 or secondaries, and sometimes looks bad.

All capes baring a few that I either had no ideas for or saw no reason to change have also been done. Some capes were changed drastically and given new designs, and others had changes made solely to make them match certain armour sets from this mod, so don't expect simple yellow re-colours for everything.

For all of the mods, you can pick-and-choose what you want to use, so feel free to mix this with Helldiverized, Make it Yellow, Greener Galaxy, or whatever else LUT mods you want.

Q: Can you do X?

A: This mod is for personal use, so I don't take requests.

Q: Why are the Killzone armours separate?

A: The Killzone sets are their own mod because I don't feel comfortable with the unfixable bugs (gore stretching, mainly), and I didn't want to bloat the file-size of the main mod as it is already pretty large.

Q: Why does this mod break when mesh mods break; isn't it just all texture edits?.

A: There are actually a quite a few mesh edits included in the mod(s). Both for aesthetic and bug-fixing reasons. Check the 'Articles' section for a list.

Q: The armour doesn't look the same as the image when multiple options are selected.

A: Assuming no fault on your end, this means there is a shared LUT, texture, or mesh that I didn't spot. I tried my hardest to avoid this issue, so please tell me if you see anything like this. Some images may also be outdated, but mostly only the 'Black' armours due to an update I made to them later on. In game they will look cleaner and darker.

Q: Despite not selecting them in the mod options, some armour sets are still changing colours!

A: This is likely due to pattern LUTs or above mentioned shared LUTs or armour parts. Fixing this isn't really possible.
