Arvis' Custom Venator - Super Destroyer Replacer (Star Wars)

Quick and simple mod that replaces both the high-detail Player entity and the background space/atmospheric entity of the Super Destroyer with the customized model of the Venator-class Star Destroyer as created by ArvisTaljik and textured by Kharak.

If installed using HD2 Mod Manager, there is a native option to display the Venator with an Imperial or a Republic skin.

It is recommended that you run the Thruster Deleter Mod alongside this one and have it remove the Super Destroyer thruster particles for a more immersive look (the Acclamator already has glowing engines included).

!!! Graphics Card Notice !!!

Due to the nature of the textures used on the Venator model and their texel density, it is recommended to run this mod only if you have an RTX 2000-series GPU or higher.  The ship model is optimized to run on most all systems, but the textures have been de signed to keep as much detail as possible and will likely cause issues on 1000-series GPU's or lower power integrated graphics cards.  I apologize, but this can't be helped without reducing the quality of the mod overall.

Helldivers 2 is a multiplayer game with anti-cheat measures. While a client-side cosmetic mod is unlikely to trigger those measures (and has yet to do so in over 35 hours of personal testing), modding of any sort is done entirely at the risk of the end-user and neither ArvisTaljik, Heloise, Nexus Mods, or any other entity can be held responsible for damages that may result from utilizing mods. You have been warned!

At this time the only way to resolve filename conflict is to rename the files. Make sure you have file extensions enabled in Windows, and then extract the mod's 3 patch files to an intermediate directory. Rename each of the three files to have the desired patch number, I. E. change patch_0 to patch_1, or patch_2, etc. Finally, move the resulting set of files to Helldivers 2's data folder.Unzip the downloaded archive from the Files tab and place its files in the game's data directory, located at <your steam library>\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\data. If you already have mods with the same patch number in your game folder, refer to the PSA above.Due to the high texture resolution utilized for the Star Destroyer, noticeable pop-in is expected to be encountered, especially on weak systems.

The high-detail player model of the Venator will have the original Super Destroyer engine glows floating in the back. This is currently unavoidable and cannot be fixed at this time
