Allies of Humanity Redux - A Furry Overhaul

After being broken by an update every time I went to fix it, I decided to make this a whole new mod.

However, I am considering the mod deprecated and will not be giving it updates. You can load this mod after it and both will function.

Preface

The Allies of Humanity program is a concept that I came up with as an excuse to put anthro content in Helldivers and retroactively justify the anthro mods that other people had made. It has since spiraled out from there with world building, story arcs, and https://bsky.app/profile/protoferium.bsky.social/post/3lz... rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">even fanart. I have been using it to grow and hone my writing, graphic design, and now 3d rendering skills by making the game immersively hornier.

This mod does not edit player models, but it does edit small details on armor and weapons that are widely shared.

The Illuminate attack on Super Earth has left Humanity on the back foot. Despite enlistment rates being at record highs, millions of soldiers and billions of potential soldiers have died. Nonetheless, rooting out the Squids still hiding was the top priority of the Ministry of Science and The Super Earth Satellite Observation Network in early June.

The Ministry of Science's search for Illuminate saboteurs hiding among the backwaters of Human controlled space has uncovered more than just squid activity. In the far reaches of known space a series of planets hosting previously undiscovered sentient life were found. And, to the surprise of Ministry of Expansion prospecting envoys sent to these planets, these species had managed to adopt Democracy all on their own. Granted, their understanding was far more primitive than the sophisticated ideas of Managed Democracy used by Super Earth but the subsequent reports written regarding the encounter describe their situation as "potential" and "fertile" instead of barbaric and savage.

While the Ministry of Truth will never admit it publicly, top brass in the Ministry of Defense recognize that creating an additional front to the Galactic War would be "tactically disadvantageous". In a more prosperous time a glorious crusade would have been waged to stomp out the aliens and spread humanity one planet further, but these are not prosperous times.

A joint decision was made by all of Super Earth's Ministries to allow these potential workers and soldiers to integrate within human society, as we need all the manpower we can get to keep the war machine rolling. Thus, the Allies of Humanity Program began, facilitating their integration with resettlement and work opportunities. Those who showed an interest in taking part in the galactic war have been given opportunities to act as cannon fodder shock troops within the SEAF or even the Helldivers if given special permissions by a Democracy Officer.

Do not think that Humanity has suddenly sunk so low as to put themselves on par with aliens, it is to be made explicitly clear that these anthropomorphic animals are not human. To formalize this point the members of these new species which have chosen to be resettled by the Allies of Humanity Program have been given the moniker of "Liberated Exotics" to accentuate how they are both inhuman, but blessed by the grace of liberty. Exotics who have been able to display exceptional valor may even be given the potential for citizenship, but that is not a privilege given lightly.

The Ministry of Truth has spearheaded this campaign, funneling billions of Super Credits into propaganda and

advertising in support of this project. With the large amount of funding given to businesses willing to promote the integration of Exotics into society, they have since become a fashion statement, taking on a life of their own being synonymous with progress and a future-forward perspective. This, combined with the large amount of natalist propaganda required to replenish our lost population, have completely overhauled the kinds of advertising and public service media present among Human controlled space.

Rebellious holdouts still exist in seditious conclaves which broadcast hate speech and terrorist

activity. Any form of Illegal broadcast presenting this material is to

be destroyed on sight and related traitors summarily executed.

Addendum 7/18

Claorell has been the victim of a surgical strike by a new legion of Automatons

calling themselves "Animal Control". The Bots have begun to recognize

the combat efficiency of our Exotic alliance and have started fielding a

dedicated countermeasure. This action only reassures us that the Allies

of Humanity Program has revitalized the war effort to such an extent

that our enemies are trying to target it specifically.

In other news the planet Leupoda has begun an advertising campaign for its

new luxury resort complex built in partnership with upstart coffee

company Hound Milk Cafe.

Addendum 9/2

The mutations induced by the gloom have created both incredible hardship

and incredible potential. The Ministry of Science has been conducting

experiments on the many mutant larvae recovered during Helldiver

missions and have been experiencing unprecedented breakthroughs.
