AC-10 Vindicator - AC-8 Autocannon Replacer

Hi ya'll, this one's a doozy. Migraine inducing creation. I'm releasing it in Version 1. 0 while working on updates for the JAR-7 Decimator - JAR-5 Dominator Replacer.

Much like last time, I modeled and textured the gun myself as a custom replacer for the AC-8 Autocannon stratagem you bot-busters, bug-crushers, and squid-fryers so endearing enjoy.

I'm adding two versions (load just one using the mod manager).

• []first version comes with a custom scope (with a working reticle this time). The custom scope replaces all weapon scopes that use the same scope as the AC-8 Autocannon, so be weary. The reticle is the default AC-8 reticle (so you can use your own reticle replacer, definitely not because I was too lazy to make one).

  []second version use the default in game scope (not as stylish in my opinion but just as effective) and is compatible with a variety of scope replacers.

  If you want a custom weapon modeled/textured and added, I'm open to suggestions, just contact me here in Nexus Mods or through Discord!

  An upgrade to an already reliable and effective personal weapon. The perfect equipment for home defense- that is, defending your home against the forces of tyranny. It's a jock among jocks, a multi-purpose tool to hammer, skewer, punch through whatever problems life throws at you.

  Venerated. Versatile. Voracious. Vindictive. Serving justice like a meal, and dishing out punishment in a buffet of all-out brawling. It seeks truth, order and vengeance, the Vindicator.

  Work-In-Progress features (by order of priority):

  • []Patch fix for the shell animations [v1. 05] - There's currently a bug in the shell casing ejection animation where the casings don't disappear after ejection and some bullets still in the magazine well slide with the chamber, clipping through. I'll be looking around for a fix for it. DONE

    []Patch fix for ammo clips [v1. 1] - I'll be adding emissive/glowing/shiny textures on the ammo clips in the backpack to make it more visible during hectic combat situations. It's not always easy for a Helldiver to pay attention to your HUD when getting penetrated by Stalkers, after all.

    []Additional color options [v1. 2] - Additional color options will be added to match the default Helldiver colors (black & yellow) in game as well as a less conspicuous colors like Gunmetal Gray/Black. This will include reworked textures and decals for more detail for those crispy clean 4K texture enjoyers.

    []Custom SFX [v1. 3] - Once I get to learning how to make and import custom audio, I might make custom sounds to match the model. Low priority for now though.
