Threshold (( FIXED _ MAJOR UPDATE ))

HALO: THRESHOLD

-A mod for Halo 3 MCC Valhalla-

Taking place on a fractured remnant of Installation 04, one of the few remaining sections trapped in orbit around the gas giant known as Threshold.

Your team has been sent to gather intel on a mysterious signal being transmitted from the area.

FIXED   -   MAJOR UPDATE!

- A complete overhaul/re-imagining of Halo 3 Valhalla

- Entire map has been reskinned to better fit the new theme

- New skybox with custom fog and minimal Flood spore "weather" effect

- All new decorators, crates, scenery, and decals throughout the map

- Flashlights have been added to the Assault Rifle

- Ambient creatures have been added (quadwings, infection forms, and rats)

- Tons of AI added (Marines, ODSTs, Elites, Jackals, Hunters, Buggers and all forms of the Flood)

- FIRE BREATHING QUADWINGS (slightly larger scale than their ambient counterparts, with actual AI)

- A total of 30 scripts written and compiled to govern AI respawns and reduce map clutter

- Flood Meteorites and Covenant Insertion Pods have been added

- Scripted events (Such as an AI Phantom and Pelican that picks up and drops off troops and vehicles)

( IMPORTANT:  Team Slayer is the preferred gametype, and team colors are as follows. )

Green = UNSC

Orange = Covenant

Purple = Flood

INSTALLATION

1. Download and extract the file "threshold.zip"

2. Make a backup copy of your original "riverworld.map" in your Halo 3 maps folder

3. Place the "riverworld.map" file that you extracted into your Halo 3 maps folder

(SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\maps)

4. Start The Master Chief Collection game, making sure to start with Easy Anti Cheat  DISABLED

5. Enjoy the mod!
