Recoded Movies (4.2 gb instead of 20 gb)

This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. I didn't change the video file resolution or fps. Only the lowest possible bitrate was used to maintain good video quality.

Recoded campaign cutscenes (Halo 2 and Halo 4), Terminals (Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 4), MCC launcher videos

Compression ratio: Cutscenes: 30%, Terminals: 20%, MCC launcher videos: 10% of the total size.

In some videos the visual flaws is slightly noticeable. I prefer maximum compression than huge bloated files.

I warn you in advance, if you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a 20 gigabyte videos folders.

IMPORTANT:

These recoded videos contains ONLY english and russian languages. All other languages are deleted.

Easy Anti-Cheat triggers to Bink2W64_UE.dll and bink2w64.dll. This files needed for the recoded videos to play.

So you gonna play without anti-cheat and online stuff.

Choose wisely: smaller game size or online capabilities.

Unzip Halo. The Master Chief Collection. Recoded Movies.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
