Reach Firefight Lives and Times Fix

When Halo: Reach released on PC, four firefight modes had different starting lives, extra lives, and time limits to the original Xbox 360 release. This mod restores the original lives and times to Reach on PC.

This mod changes the lives and times of the following modes:

• []Firefight: no time limit, 10 starting lives, 20 extra lives.

  []Generator Defense: no time limit, 10 starting lives, 20 extra lives.

  []Rocketfight: no time limit, 10 starting lives, 20 extra lives.

  []Score Attack: 12 minute time limit, 10 starting lives, 20 extra lives.

  Installation:

  First, it is highly recommended that you delete or backup the following files from Steam\SteamApps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\game_variants:

    []hr_ff_scoreAttack_1round.bin

    Method 1 (Manual)

    • []Open the.zip file.

      []Open the Reach Firefight Lives and Times Fix folder.

      []Drag and drop the haloreach folder into Steam\SteamApps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection.

      []Run MCC, go to the firefight custom games menu, and set Firefight, Generator Defense, Rocketfight, or Score Attack as the gamemode.

      Method 2 (JSGME)

      • []Open the .zip file.

        []Drag and drop the Reach Firefight Lives and Times Fix folder into your MCC JSGME mods folder.

        []Run JSGME and enable Reach Firefight Lives and Times Fix.

        []Run MCC, go to the firefight custom games menu, and set Firefight, Generator Defense, Rocketfight, or Score Attack as the gamemode.
