IMPORTANT: Please make backups of these files as they will be replaced by the ones in this mod and

the only other way to get them back on Steam is to do'VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES' which is more

time consuming then simply copying the original file and placing it somewhere else.

Short Instructions:

1) open the folder above this ReadMe file

2) open game directory in another window

3) make backup copies of the files listed above

4) copy the MCC folder in the extracted mod folder

5) paste it into the game's directory

Installation Instructions for Dummies:

STEP 1 - Navigate to the game's directory and open the 'Content' folder

For Steam users:

 \Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection

For Microsoft Store users:

I don't know just find the folder titled Halo The Master Chief Collection

Open the MCC folder, then open the Content folder

STEP 2 - Locate the files listed above and create backup copies of each

STEP 3 - In folder for this mod, copy MCC folder from here and paste it into the

game's directory and agree to overwrite/replace files when prompted

STEP 4 - launch the game and witness the beauty of Halo The MS Paint Collection

Q: Does this mod work with matchmaking or will Easy-Anti-Cheat block me from playing online?

A: YES, you can launch the game normally without having to choose the 'disable anti-cheat' option. Mods that effect files that are used in multiplayer games or that modify aspects of the UI that appear on your screen during games will be flagged by EAC, but this mod only replaces backgrounds in the main menu (for now... ) and thus does not prevent you from playing in online matchmaking.
