Halo Reach Sprint Muter

Installation:

Slap this mod in 'Halo The Master Chief Collection\haloreach\fmod\pc'

and click 'Copy and Replace'

WARNING:

The Optional File (sfx.fsb) overwrites Halo Reach's sfx file in order to silence the Startup and End sound effects for the sprint ability.

Using this will reset all custom Reach sound effects to their default settings (Replacing any custom Menu/Gun sfx sounds)

If you want to mute the Startup and End sprint ability noise while using another mod which edits the Halo Reach sfx file 'sfx.fsb' then..

Specific file to edit: 'sfx.fsb'

Specific mp3 titles in the fsb file:

sfx#6306 (jammer_arm)

sfx#6307 (sprint_exit)

(jammer_arm = sprint startup ability sound and sprint_exit explains itself)

(In Foobar2000 once the fsb is open instead of scrolling to find these two ' 'Title / track artists' ' middle mouse click a track and press Ctrl+F and then type sprint and click the result. If your unable to for whatever reason they are both located just above halfway down the list)

(in order to mute them using audacity; apply a bunch of fade in and fade out effects,

Ctrl+R in audacity to repeat the last used effect)
