Halo 3 Beefier Vanilla Weapon Sound Overhaul (ODST Update)

NOW INCLUDES HALO 3:ODST!

This mod aims to beef up the vanilla gun sounds for Halo 3 while still keeping the distinctive characteristics of the original sounds.

Due to the nature of how recent MCC updates affect sound mods like these, I've had to rebuild the mod completely from scratch. In saying that, I've decided to leave out a couple of sounds from previous versions just because I felt like they didn't sound good enough. I've also reworked plenty of guns to sound a lot better.

Modified weapons now include:

Assault Rifle (reworked)

Battle Rifle (reworked)

Covenant Carbine (slightly reworked)

MG turret (reworked)

Magnum + Silenced (Silenced reworked)

Shotgun (slightly reworked)

Silenced SMG

SMG (reworked)

Sniper Rifle

Spiker

INSTALLATION

Go to \steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\fmod\pc and rename sfx.fsb (to something like og sfx.fsb) or back it up to another folder. Then extract and place my sfx.fsb inside the \steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\fmod\pc.

To uninstall:

If you backed the original fsb file to another folder, remove my fsb file and place the original file back in the\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\fmod\pc directory.

If you renamed the original fsb file, just rename it back to sfx.fsb and remove/rename my fsb file if you want to keep it.
