Halo 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary Human Turret Tags for Halo 3

A simple port of the Halo 2 Human Turret for Halo 3. Includes a test map, High Ground, with the Halo 3 turret replaced with the Halo 2 version. Characters use Halo 3 machine gun animations, so it looks a little funky. Otherwise everything should be as it was in Halo 2. Useful for Halo 2 map ports, or an alternative to the detachable Halo 3 turret.

Test map uses TheChunkierBean's excellent Halo 2 Spartan port

Tag Installation:

• []Extract the downloaded zip folder

  []Move/copy the "tags" located in the zip into your H3EK directory

  []The turret tags will be under "tags/h2/objects/vehicles/h_turret_ap"

  []Halo 2 Anniversary tags are under "tags/h2/objects/vehicles/h_turret_ap/h2a_fixed_turret"

  Using the tags in Guerilla:

  • []Open your desired .scenario

    []Navigate to "Vehicle Palette"

    []Add in the "h_turret_ap" vehicle

    Using the tags in Sapien

    • []Open your desired .scenario

      []Go to "Edit Types"

      []Select "Vehicles" from the dropdown

      []Find "h_turret_ap" and add it

      Map Installation:

      • []Backup your current "deadlock.map" as the test replaces it

      • Move the "deadlock.map" found in the zip folder to your Halo MCC Halo 3 map directory
