Somewhere in the dark between Reach and the Ring, a Covenant boarding party took something they did not understand.

Not a weapon. Not a ship. A scientist.

Now their infantry is coming back wrong.

Taller. Armoured. Shielded. Wearing MJOLNIR that nobody ever authorized.

Cortana went very quiet when she saw the schematics. She recognized the handwriting.

The Covenant captured a UNSC researcher and put her to work.

She gave them the SPARTAN program.

She did not give them all of it.

The augmentation process is unstable, the armour fits badly on Covenant physiology,

and roughly half the candidates simply do not survive the procedure.

So you will not be fighting an army of Spartans.

You will be fighting a Covenant army that has Spartans mixed into it.

Cortana refuses to say how she knows whose work this is.

She says it is not relevant to the mission.

She says it twice.

"John. Do not ask me about the scientist."

What This Mod Does

Mixes SPARTAN enemies into the Covenant ranks across the whole campaign.

Gives them real energy shields with proper recharge, because a Spartan without shields is just a marine in an expensive hat.

The conversion rate is inconsistent by design. That is not a bug, that is the augmentation Covenant failing.

INSTALLATION

Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks

2. Create a folder named:

~mods

3. Drag all included mod files into:

Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks\~mods

4. Launch the game and begin a campaign mission.

The folder must be named exactly ~mods, including the symbol.

Delete the included mod files from:

Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks\~mods
