Easier Shooting Control (Reduce Movement Speed while Shooting and Aiming)

Requirements

• []Mouse & Keyboard only. This script will not work if you are playing with a controller.[/]

  []Caps Lock for Sneak. You must set your in-game "Sneak" keybinding to CAPS LOCK. The script specifically looks for this key, so it won't work if you bind sneak to anything else.[/]

  []AutoHotkey v2. 0. You need to have this software installed on your PC to run the script.[/]

  Description

  If your character moves too fast during combat and makes aiming difficult, this mod is for you.

  These background scripts automatically activate sneak when you shoot or aim, instantly reducing your movement speed so your shots are much easier to control.

  Choose the variant that works best for you:

  Shoot Variant: Reduce Mov Speed while Shooting

  Whenever you click or hold your Left Mouse Button to shoot, the script automatically holds down Caps Lock (Sneak) at the exact same time. The moment you stop shooting, it stops sneaking.Shoot & Aim Variant: Reduce Mov Speed while Shooting & Aiming 

  This version provides maximum movement stabilization. In addition to triggering sneak when shooting, it also automatically holds Caps Lock (Sneak) whenever you hold the Right Mouse Button to aim (ADS/Zoom).

  Installation & Usage Guide

  AutoHotkey (AHK) Installation

  • []Open your web browser and go to the official AutoHotkey website: https://www.autohotkey.com/[/]

    []Download the latest AutoHotkey installer (make sure it is v2. 0).[/]

    []Run the installer and follow the standard setup steps until it is fully installed on your PC.[/]

    Mod File Installation

    • []Download the file from this mod page.[/]

      []Extract and place the file anywhere you want.[/]

      []You could also create a shortcut desktop out of it.[/]

      How to Use

      • []Open the EasierShootingControl - Shoot.ahk or EasierShootingControl - Shoot & Aim.ahk [/]

        []Check your System Tray (the bottom-right corner of your Windows taskbar). You will see a green icon with a white 'H'. This means the script is running.[/]

        []Launch the game.[/]

        []You are good to go! The script is smart enough to only work when you are actively playing the game, so it won't mess with your typing on desktop.[/]

        []When you are done playing, just right-click the green 'H' icon in your System Tray and click Exit.[/]

        Optional: Recommended In-Game Camera Settings

        Go to your in-game Keyboard & Mouse Settings and copy these exact values:
