Combat Evolved Anniversary Magnum SFX

I was a little disappointed with the magnum audio in Campaign Evolved and wanted something that felt more faithful to the original. Combat Evolved Anniversary already updated the audio, so this mod replaces the magnum SFX with their CE:A counterparts. Right now it's just the firing sounds, but I might update it with the ready and reload ones later. The firing audio also distorts as you deplete the magazine, and if I can figure out how to disable that I probably will.

Installation

Extract the archive and copy the included

~modsfolder into:

Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks\If prompted, merge the folders.

Your final folder structure should look like this:

Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks\~mods\.pakThe important part is that the .pak file itself ends up inside the ~mods folder located within the game's \Content\Paks directory.

Then launch Halo: Campaign Evolved normally.

Uninstallation

Delete the mod's .pak file from:

Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks\~mods
