Classic Weapon Offsets

Description

Pretty simple mod that edits every Campaign Evolved weapon offset to resemble the Combat Evolved weapon offsets as closely as possible. Any weapon not originally in Combat Evolved has been adjusted to either fit more comfortably on the screen, or to resemble their appearances in Halo 2 and Halo 3.

These aren't 100% accurate as the weapon models and the way they are held are not accurate to Combat Evolved whatsoever, so I basically eyeballed it. This was mostly me testing Baboon and seeing what's possible.

Inside the ZIP contains the required .pak, .ucas and .utok files needed for the mod to function. I'm not 100% sure how multiple mods that edit the same weapon tag work together, if at all, so I've also included the .baboon project file if any modders would like to include these offsets in their mods.

This mod was tested on the Steam version but should work fine on the Xbox PC version.

Installation instructions

Extract all files inside the .zip into "Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks\~mods" while the game is closed.

Requirements

- If you haven't already, create a "~mods" folder inside "Halo Campaign Evolved\Meteorite\Content\Paks"

- Own the game... lmao

Shout-outs

Special thanks to everyone in the Halo Mods discord server for being so helpful! Especially Zoephie and Camden for making Baboon compatible with Campaign Evolved so quickly! Halo modders are truly the best of the best.
