MATTE OR GLOSSY BLACK ARMOR

Turns Master Chief's armor variants black. Matte or glossy black.

Black Armor Toggle gives Master Chief a clean black armor appearance without changing the equipped armor style.

It also automatically corrects two components on Chief’s model that normally fail to receive the equipped armor style and remain the default green.

DESCRIPTION

This mod replaces Master Chief’s armor variant colors with black while preserving the shape and surface detail of the equipped armor.

Choose between a matte black or glossy black finish at any time while playing.

The armor automatically turns black a few seconds after a mission loads, and your selected finish is remembered between game sessions.

Your matte or glossy selection is saved to:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Meteorite\Saved\BlackArmorToggle.txt

The mod reads this file when the game starts and restores the finish you last used.

Delete the file if you want to reset the saved selection.

UNINSTALLATION

BlackArmorTogglefolder from:

ue4ss\ModsNo original game files are modified, so no additional cleanup is required.

You can also delete:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Meteorite\Saved\BlackArmorToggle.txtif you want to remove the saved matte or glossy preference.
