Halo Recreation

Halo Recreation arises as our endeavor to modify the current and all possible Halo campaigns, specifically CE, 2, 3, and ODST (with 4 & Reach coming in the potential future), and improve them in terms of quality and experience.

As many of you can see, The Recreation Team emerges as a new group separate from the well-known Bungie Restoration Project. As a result of several problems and disagreements with said group, we have completely distanced ourselves from them, which has led us, in our shared effort, to get together and create a totally new project of our own. Taking advantage of what we have been able to acquire during our separation, we hope to advance in our goal as quickly as possible, and with the help from the entire halo community through our Discord Server ( https://discord.gg/6NkP2bRvnK ), be as transparent in our work as possible too.

Through this aforementioned endeavor, we seek to bring about and restore all possible cut content that we are aware of, including unused dialogue, and do the best we can in recreating it as a fun and unique experience of a mod, whether it being our own way or through incorporating elements from other mods (always with owner’s approval if needed), in order to facilitate this task at several points.

However, the restoration of cut content is not our only goal in this project; we will be making a complete overhaul of all available Halo campaigns, as we attempt to add, modify, and/or fix certain aspects in order to recreate a unique video game experience, while respecting every moment that defines the essence of Bungie’s original vision for these games. With this mod, we hope you enjoy this unique way of experiencing Halo’s lore, combining the best of both worlds, as we modify and expand on, what we are hoping to be, the “Ultimate Halo Campaign Experience”.
