Glacier Multiplayer and Forge

GLACIER

Back when I was first playing Halo: Reach on the Xbox 360, I always saw this map as a missed opportunity to not include multiplayer on it, as it was a great design for a BTB map. However, with Assembly being readily available, I decided to make it happen.

Current features:

• []Supports all gametypes.

  []All vanilla Forge objects are able to be placed

  []Most of the new structural 'Thorage' items are able to be placed

  []All vanilla vehicles

  []No boundaries, build wherever you like!

• []With no initial spawn placed down, the first time you load the map there is a possibility that you will spawn outside the map. If this happens, let yourself fall and eventually you'll respawn inside the map, where you can place down initial spawn points. Will be fixing this when I have the time.

  []Aside from the Ghost and Wraith, no other vehicles have sound. This is due to them not being initially present on the map, and it is not currently possible to import audio in Assembly. For now they are very silent.

  []Portable Shield prop is not appearing

  []Some Thorage items are missing due to time limitations on my part, but these will be added soon.

  []Mancannon sounds are missing due to the same issue w/ the vehicles.

  Planned future updates:

  • []Adding Thorage items including all vehicles

    []Target Designator in Forge menu

    []AI Battles once I become more familiar with the advanced side of Assembly

    []Other scenery from the map in Forge menus

    This is only the first release so there will be some problems, but anything that isn't already noted here then feel free to leave some feedback and I'll do what I can to try and fix it. Also my first ever published mod on this game so forgive me if everything's not top-notch.
