I took a shot at making an even bigger custom map and I think it turned out pretty good. This mod will have a few different variants that are either aesthetic changes or completely different ai battles.

How to install the map
First locate your maps folder under "Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo3\maps". Make a backup of "sidewinder.map" so that you can always revert to the default map. Then just replace the map with the one from the mod and you're good to go. This mod will replace the map "Avalanche" in halo 3.
