Skoteines Psyches

Skoteines Psyches is a mod that makes Zagreus hit much harder... and his enemies even harder still.

Why?

It substantially changes the feeling of the game.

Beating Hades is, mainly, about putting together a solid build and optimizing DPS.

Beating Skoteines Psyches is, mainly, about positioning and dodging. You already have the DPS. But you have to survive long enough to make use of it.

Is Skoteines Psyches harder than vanilla Hades?

Yes. The damage rebalance is skewed in favor of the enemies by a factor of about 20%. You can take very few hits before dying. Getting surrounded is a death sentence. A mere few mistakes will kill even a great run.

Is Skoteines Psyches easier than vanilla Hades?

Yes. You can often dispatch enemies before they can start attacking. Your runs will go much faster.

Is 

No. For instance, the increased damage means that all time-based challenges are not very challenging anymore.

In the sense that it changes the balance intended by Supergiant Games, yes.

Skoteines Psyches worthwhile?

Up to you. I for one like it better than vanilla Hades.

Installation

Unzip the mod file into the Content/ folder in your Hades/ game folder. When prompted to replace files, say yes. If you do not get prompted to replace files, you may be in the wrong folder.
