Musical Genius (play lyre expertly v0.25138)

While Apollo will not be joining the fray, the god of music has blessed Zagreus with exceptional skill in lyre-playing. This mod allows you to complete the minor prophecy The Gift of Song substantially faster.

In the base game, you need to play the lyre 210 times before unlocking one of Orpheus's conversations which lets you complete the prophecy. This mod lowers the requirement so you only need to play it 5 times.

Quest walkthrough:

- After talking to Orpheus about learning to play music and getting the minor prophecy 'The Gift of Song', buy Splendid Lyre from House Contractor.

- Play the lyre for 5 times, regardless of whether you improved or not. Go for a run (regardless of win or lose).

- When you come back to the House of Hades, Orpheus should have a conversation to teach you how to play.

- Go for a run and come back to the House again. Repeat 3 times. Orpheus should have something new to say each time.

- After the 4th time you talk to Orpheus, the quest should complete and you should be able to play the lyre well.

Pros: Play lyre expertly in 5 runs, save 20-30 minutes, Apollo would approve

Cons: Get a false sense of talent, second time deceiving Orpheus, miss out on some of Zagreus's lyre comments

How to install:

. Download and extract

. Navigate to Hades/Content/Scripts -- most likely here: (C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Hades\Content\Scripts)

. (Optional) Backup the Scripts folder.

. Copy and paste the folder to replace the existing scripts files with the mod files.

* Not compatible with mods that change NPCData, HeroData or RoomPresentation files. The most important file is NPCData which lowers the requirement for Orpheus's conversation to unlock. The other two files change the comments Zagreus makes, and the way the lyre sounds, while playing.

To uninstall:

. Copy and paste the backup Scripts folder/Verify game integrity on your launcher/Uninstall and reinstall the game to get the original scripts folder (Remember to backup save profiles where needed)
