Guaranteed Fishing Spots

The title says it all. I've edited some files so that you can find a fishing spot in almost every room (certain rooms don't have water, so obviously no fishing spots there). I haven't taken the time to edit anything to make fishing easier, but with the increased spawn rate you should have plenty of chances to catch 'em all.

Installation:

• []MAKE A BACKUP OF THE FOLLOWING FILES: RoomData, RoomDataAsphodel, RoomDataElysium, RoomDataSecrets, RoomDataStyx, RoomDataSurface, and RoomDataTartarus. I don't expect that this mod will in any way hurt your game, but it doesn't hurt to play it safe. File location is Steam > steamapps > common > Hades > Content > Scripts.

  []Download the .zip file and extract the seven .lua files (listed above) into the aforementioned Scripts folder and select "Replace all files" if prompted. All done!

  • []Copy+paste the original files that you backed up into the Scripts folder.
    • []In case this mod ever becomes outdated, it's possible for you to make the same changes that I did with only a little effort. Find the files listed above, open them in Notepad, and in each one ctrl+F "fishing". Find and edit the following values: FishingPointChance = 1 and RequiredMinRoomsSinceFishingPoint = 0. Note: some of the files have more than one instance of these values that must be edited for the change to be reflected in game.
