Debug Suicide Mod

What does this mod do?

This mod allows you to kill your character and reappear in the house when holding down Up, Down, Left and Right for three seconds. Intented to be used when your save is softlocked (can't exit a room by any in-game mean).

Remember to check the changelogs right above to know what has changed!

-Optional debug warnings with ModUtil installed

How to use :

Hold down the Up, Down, Left and Right keys for three seconds (cannot be done on controller). If ModUtil is installed, warnings will be displayed. If nothing happens press the keys again, the input is a bit glitchy sometimes.

Additional info :

1. You may not need this mod to fix your softlock! Try this fix from the Hades QA team before you try using this mod :

2. If you used this mod to fix your softlocked save, but then your game crashes when loading your savefile/appearing in the house, do this :

-Send your savefile to someone with the game

-Have them load your save, exit the game, then send the savefile back to you

-Load your save and check if it crashes

If it still crashes, join the modding discord and ask for help.

How to install :

With mod importer :

-Download attached archive

-Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Hades (or Epic launcher equivalent)

-Extract archive

-Download and install Python

-Download Magic's mod importer

-Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Hades\Content (or Epic launcher equivalent)

-Extract archive

-Run the script (double click)

How to uninstall :

-Make sure you are not in a run when you exit the game!

-Delete DebugSuicide_PonyWarrior in Mods folder

-Remove import line in Content/Scripts/RoomManager.lua

How to update :

-Extract new archive into the Content\Mods\ folder and replace existing files. Also check installation instructions for possible changes.
