Real Traffic AI improves overall traffic flow in GTA V by refining NPC driving behaviour, reducing hesitation, and creating smoother, more natural vehicle movement across the map.

The goal of this mod is to enhance traffic realism without breaking vanilla behaviour, making city streets feel calmer and more believable, and highways feel alive and free-flowing — all while remaining stable during long play sessions and fully compatible with LSPDFR.

Real Traffic AI is designed to feel like a natural evolution of GTA V’s traffic system rather than a complete overhaul.

Version 1. 7 introduces major improvements to how civilian traffic behaves around police and emergency activity.

When sirens are active, Real Traffic AI automatically steps back and allows GTA V’s native AI to handle yielding and stopping behaviour. This ensures correct pull-over responses and significantly improves compatibility with LSPDFR and emergency vehicle mods.
