Playground Grass and Foliage Cleaner

REQUIRES UE4SS_Grounded2

This is a one-time Playground cleanup utility for Grounded 2. It uses the game’s own foliage removal system to mark selected default foliage instances as removed in the save’s persistent foliage-removal data. After you save/export the cleaned Playground, the mod can be disabled.

It does not modify game files, replace assets, or remove user-placed objects. It is intended for creators who want to clear unwanted default grass and harvestable clutter from Playground maps.

Description

Removes default Playground foliage/harvestables from a save:

- dry/dead grass

- dandelions

- mushrooms

- small weeds

Does NOT remove:

- Plant Fiber

- user-placed objects

- large static props

- soda cans/baseballs/leaves/other clutter

Manual Installation instructions

(Before Install, export your playground save as a backup as a precaution)

1. Install UE4SS for Grounded 2.

2. Install Playground Grass and Foliage Cleaner

3. Drop the NoDefaultGrass folder into the game's Mods folder.

4. Enable NoDefaultGrass in mods.txt. "NoDefaultGrass : 1"

HOW TO USE: 

• []When the mod is installed,  it will begin marking selected default foliage as removed immediately upon loading into the world[/]

  []Refer to the UE4SS Console to track when the tool completes. (you will not see it disappear in real time)[/]

  []after the tool completes — create a new save and close the game. [/]

  []Disable the mod in mods.txt "NoDefaultGrass : 0"[/]

  []Relaunch the game and open your world. The selected default foliage should now be removed from the Playground.[/]
