📋 About This Mod
If you get a black screen when loading a save (very common bug), then restart the game or press escape on the black screen then reload your save.
This bug is caused by UE4SS, I can't fix it. See this GitHub issue: https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/issues/624
But I created a workaround, install this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/grounded/mods/178
Usage
Enable/disable the mod by pressing ALT+NUM_1 (ALT + 1 key on the numeric keypad). You can configure these keys in options.lua file.
Accessing the Console
To enter commands, you must use the game console (press F10 twice to open the console window).
Spawning Items (command: spawn)
You can spawn specific tools (ASL Terminal, Resource Analyzer, Resource Surveyor) directly via the console by typing their respective commands.
Examples of command usage
Type these in the game console; press F10 in-game (twice):
spawn -> Shows the help menu with all available objects.
spawn ASL -> Spawns an ASL Terminal.
spawn ra -> Spawns a Resource Analyzer (aliases are case-insensitive).
spawn ResourceSurveyor -> Spawns a Resource Surveyor using the full name.
Recycle all buildings (command: canrecycle)
Enables the "RECYCLE" shortcut prompt for all buildings. This shortcut appears on the screen when hovering over a building.

Mod configuration file: \Mods\RelocateMod\options.lua
It's a Lua file. You can open it with any text editor (Notepad, Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, etc.).
Everything after -- (two hyphens/dashes) is ignored (it's a commentary).
Tips
[*] Hot reload the mod
You can either (see Applying code changes):Reload all mods from the UE4SS GUI Console with the "Restart All Mods" button on the "Console" tab, or, enable "Hot reload" in UE4SS-settings.ini and use the assigned hotkey (Ctrl+R by default) to do the same. You can then reload the mod to quickly test you
Relocate is a small utility mod that enables the 'relocate' function for certain objects, such as the Zipline Anchor, even when connected. With 9 endorsements and 497 downloads, it's a niche tool for players who want more flexibility in object placement. Last updated March 2026.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny and focused – does exactly one thing without bloat.
- Handy for builders who hate rebuilding connected structures.
- Fresh update (March 2026) – likely works with current game version.
⚠️ Cons
- Very niche – only affects specific objects, so most players won't notice it.
- Low endorsement count (9) – not widely tested by the community.
- No documentation on which objects are affected beyond the Zipline Anchor.
For builders and base designers who frequently place connected objects like Zipline Anchors and want to reposition them without breaking connections. Skip if you rarely use such objects or prefer vanilla behavior.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, just drop the file into your mods folder and enable it – no extra setup.
- Test on a Zipline Anchor specifically to see the relocate option appear in the radial menu.
- Since it's a small mod, check for updates after game patches – it might break if the game changes object properties.
